Dose calibrators
The dose calibrators are used to control the correct dose of radioactive material destined for introduction into the human body.
Comecer also manufactures dose calibrators for nuclear medicine and diagnostics.

Fields of use
The dose calibrators are used in nuclear medicine and by the producers of radioactive material for medical use, in order to control that the dose of radioactivity intended for the patient is correct. These radioactive materials are used, for example, for the PET (positron emission tomographic).
Calibration and certification
The dose calibrators are calibrated in relation to the activity quantity expressed in Bq. On completion, the Comecer Calibration Centre report is issued.
Recommended times
Comecer recommends periodic reading of the dose calibrators, at least once a year.
