Accredia Certifications

The criteria applied for the control and management of the documents concerning the Quality system of the Centre are in compliance with the prescriptions of the UNI IEC EN ISO/IEC 17025 Reference Standard “General requisites for the competence of test and calibration laboratories”.

The Body that certifies the Comecer Calibration Centre LAT 065 is the Accredia, which yearly attests the competence of the Laboratory to perform calibration that through time assure traceability of national or international calibrations and recognises the Laboratory with the faculty to issue Accredia calibration certificates, which has the Accredia – Italian Accreditation Body, for the instruments, fields, uncertainties and measurement conditions specified in the Accreditation table.

Comecer calibration reports

The Comecer Calibration Centre issues further certification called “Calibration reports”, in order to determine the calibration factors of different instruments.

In detail, the calibration of the following is performed:

Multimeters for quality controls for kV and Time quantities with equipment for conventional radiology with X-ray anode tube in tungsten within the range of 35 ÷ 320 kV
Kilovoltmeters with appliance for mammography with X-ray anode tube in Molybdenum and filtration of 0.025 of Mo or 0.5 mm Al within the range of 25 ÷ 45 kV
Contamination meters
Hands, feet and clothing for he measurement of contamination
Dose calibrators for nuclear medicine and PET
Chronometers for the measurement of irradiation time

Comecer issues the Calibration Reports to respond to the needs of customers that require calibrations that are not yet accredited by the Accredia.

The procedures used by Comecer for the issue of Calibration Reports are in compliance with the prescriptions of the UNI IEC EN ISO/IEC 17025 Reference Standard, equal to the Accredia certifications.
